1. Participants must be at least 18 years old on race day.
  2. Participants must complete the race course on foot within the specified date and cut-off time to complete the race. Carrying, pulling, or pushing by fellow runners or members of the public is strictly prohibited.
  3. Participants are required to carry all the mandatory gear for the race.
  4. Race BIBs must be worn at all times on the outside of clothing (at the front).
  5. If you withdraw from the event, you must inform the organisers.
  6. If you need help on the course, you must use the phone numbers printed on your race bib to contact the event organisers, who will make every effort to assist you.
  7. Short cuts are strictly prohibited.
  8. If you miss any cut-off times, you must withdraw from the race.
  9. Participants must scan their bracelet at CP1, CP2, and the finish line.
  10. For safety reasons, no headphones are allowed during your run on the trail. You want to be able to hear any potential dangers or warnings from other people with whom you are sharing the trail.
  11. Remain alert and aware of your surroundings. It is part of trail etiquette to step to the side, allowing those faster than you to pass.
  12. Littering is strictly prohibited.
  13. Damaging or disturbing any flora or fauna is strictly prohibited.
  14. Breaking any of the rules may incur a time penalty or disqualification.  Any such penalties are at the organisers’ discretion and are final.
  15. Ensure your own safety and that of others.  Be considerate of other trail and road users at all times.  Take great care when crossing or running on roads.  If another runner is injured or in distress, please assist.  The race organiser will gladly deduct from your finishing time any time spent assisting an injured or distressed fellow participant.
  16. Participants must bear full responsibility for their health, safety, and third-party liabilities during the activity. Participants are advised to purchase their own insurance if necessary. The organiser, affiliated organisations, sponsors, volunteers, and staff will not be liable for the health, safety, or third-party liabilities of participants.
  17. The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event rules and requirements, route, and/or other arrangements as they deem appropriate.
  18. Participants must provide true and accurate information to the organisers.  Any wilful dishonesty may render a participant’s entry invalid, and the organisers reserve the right to amend and/or cancel such participant’s entry without compensation.
