Race Rules

Following are the requirement for participation

  1. Participants must be at least 18 years old on race day.
  2. Participants must complete the race course on foot within specified date and Cut- Off time to complete the race. Carrying, pulling or pushing by fellow runners or members of the public is strictly prohibited.
  3. Participants are required to carry all the mandatory gears for the race.
  4. Support along the route from friends and families are allowed.
  5. Race BIBs contains emergency contact information therefore recommended to be worn at all times on the outside of clothing (at the front).
  6. If you withdraw from the event, you must inform organisers.
  7. If you need help on the course you must use the phone numbers printed on your race bib to contact event organisers who will make every effort to assist you.
  8. Short cuts are strictly prohibited.
  9. If you miss any cut-off times you must withdraw from the race.
  10. Participants must record their activity from the start till finish using a strava app on mobile or GPS watch.
  11. Participants must join the exclusive group Virtual QNET Gurkha Trailblazer 2021 on strava in order to qualify for the medals and prizes.
  12. For safety reasons, no headphones are allowed during your run on the trail. You want to be able to hear any potential dangers or warnings and other people with whom you are sharing the trail.
  13. Remain alert and aware of your surroundings. It is part of trail etiquette to step to the side allowing those faster than you to pass.
  14. Littering is strictly prohibited.
  15. Damaging or disturbing any flora or fauna is strictly prohibited.
  16. Breaking any of the rules may incur a time penalty or disqualification.  Any such penalties are at the organisers’ discretion and are final.
  17. Ensure your own safety and that of others.  Be considerate of other trail and road users at all times.  Take great care when crossing or running on roads.  If another runner is injured or in distress, please assist.  The race organiser will gladly deduct from your finishing time any time spent assisting an injured or distressed fellow participant.
  18. Participants must bear full responsiblity for their health, safety and third-party liabilities during the activity. Participants are advised to purchase their own insurance cover if necessary. The organizer, affiliated organisations, sponsors, volunteers and staffs will not be liable for the health, safety and third-party liabilities of participants.
  19. The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event rules and requirements, route and/or other arrangements as they deem appropriate.
  20. Participants must provide true and accurate information to the organisers.  Any wilful dishonesty may render a participant’s entry invalid and the organisers reserve the right to amend and / or cancel such participant’s entry without compensation.
