Getting to the Start line

Start Line is located northeast of New Territories of Hong Kong at Lau Shui Heung Reservoir.

By Shuttle Bus – Those who paid for the bus ticket during the registration process will be able to board the shuttle bus. From Exit A3 (Fanling Station Road) to Lau Shui Heung Roundabout, for 26km between 7:30 am and 8:00 am, then for 12km between 8:15 am and 8:30 am. The shuttle bus will drop you off at the roundabout which is 750 m from the start/finish line.

By local minibus –You can take minibus 52B from Fanling Station Exit C, to Lau Shui Heung Road/Hok Tau roundabout.

Alternately, participants may take a taxi with other runners to get to the starting line. Taxi stand at Fanling Station Exit C.

Mandatory Gear

Race BIB

Your race bib must be worn in front and the bib number must be visible to our volunteers at all times. Please fill in the emergency contact information on the back of your race bib.

Food & Drinks

Both CP1 and CP2 will have water, electrolytes and fruits. However, participants are recommended to carry energy gel or bars. There will be no water stops in between.

Hot food and drinks will be served at the finish line after 12 noon. Participants must wear a mask at the food serving area. We also recommend participants to bring their own utensils and bowl.

Race Timing

Participants must scan their wristband (chip) at checkpoint 1, checkpoint 2 (for 26 km only), and the finish line. Our volunteers will assist you with the scanning procedure.

Navigation

There will be RED ribbons and signages along the race course. Prior to the beginning of the race, each participant should review the course.

Participants are recommended to download a GPX file and course map from the link provided below to navigate the course using a GPS watch or mobile device.

Drop Bag

There will be a dedicated bag drop-off booth at the Start/Finish line. We advise all runners not to store any valuables in their bags, as we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage. Please write your BIB number on the bag tag provided at the booth and hand it over to our volunteers.

Did Not Finish (DNF)

Please do not continue if you miss the cutoff time. Contact the organizer (number provided on the back of your racebib) before you exit the race.

We encourage all participants to train well and study the route before the race. A short briefing will be held at the start/finish line. All participants must follow the rules and regulation below:

Emergency

In case of emergency, please contact the number provided on the back of your race BIB for assistance.

Adverse Weather

Participants are recommended to check the weather forecast from Hong Kong Observatory. Do not attempt the race in case of adverse weather condition (typhoon, heavy rain, thunderstorm, very hot weather). If participants face adverse weather conditions during the activity, please stop and seek shelter at safe place and inform the organizer.

Safety Guidelines

Public Toilet

Public toilet is located at the start and finish line within Lau Shui Heung Reservoir. Please be considerate to other general public and users of the toilet.

Take Your Litter Home

All participants are requested to keep the venue clean by properly disposing the litter in designated garbage bin provided by the organizer on the day. Please note that there are no bins on the trail (other than those at Check Points) so all participants must Take Your Litter Home (or back to start/finish line). Littering will result in disqualification from the race.
